How dispatch works
What "regional hub" means for your project
Field technicians are scheduled from the hub nearest your site. Concrete cylinders, soil samples, and aggregate samples are logged in the field and transported to the Sugar Land laboratory under chain of custody; for remote or high-volume projects a mobile laboratory can be mobilized to the site. Reports are reviewed and issued under one quality system regardless of which hub dispatched the work.
Same-day and next-morning scheduling is typical in the Houston metro. Elsewhere, scheduled visits and full-time project assignments are set up by phone or through a proposal request.

Is a regional hub a laboratory?
No. Hubs are dispatch points for field technicians. Laboratory testing is performed in Sugar Land, Texas, or in a mobile laboratory mobilized to large projects.
My project is far from every hub. Can you still cover it?
Yes. Project-based mobilization covers all 50 states, with travel and per diem in the proposal. Call (346) 420-5425 or send the project through the proposal request form.
Can I get same-day service outside Houston?
Usually not. Same-day and next-morning scheduling is typical in the Houston metro; other hubs schedule visits and full-time assignments in advance.
Do all hubs test to the same ASTM standards?
Yes. Field methods — ASTM C143, C231, C1064, C138, C31, and D6938 — are run the same way at every hub by ACI- and NICET-certified technicians, and laboratory methods such as ASTM C39, D698, D1557, C136, and D4318 are performed in the Sugar Land laboratory under one quality system, so a report from a Denver project reads the same as one from Houston.
