This Privacy Policy explains how Citex CMT, LLC (“CMT,” “we,” or “us”), operating as Construction Materials Testing at www.constructionmaterialtesting.com, collects, uses, and protects information from visitors, clients, and people who contact us by phone, email, web form, or text message.

Information we collect

Contact information you give us: name, company, email address, mailing address, and phone number.
Project information you send with a quote or proposal request: project location, scope, schedule, specifications, plans, and photos.
Communication records: emails, web-form submissions, call logs, voicemails, and text messages exchanged with us, including recordings or transcripts of calls where permitted by law and disclosed at the start of the call.
Website usage data collected automatically: pages visited, approximate location derived from your IP address (used to show the nearest dispatch hub), browser type, and referring site. We use this to run and improve the site.

How we use it

To answer your questions and prepare quotes and proposals.
To schedule, dispatch, perform, and report on testing and inspection work.
To send you updates about a request or project you have asked us about, by email, phone, or text message.
To invoice and collect payment for services.
To meet legal, accreditation, and record-keeping obligations.

Text messaging (SMS)

If you give us your mobile number and opt in to text messages, we may text you about your request, scheduling, and answers to your questions. Message frequency varies; typically up to 8 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel at any time and HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use-case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

With service providers who help us operate — such as telephone and messaging carriers, email hosting, cloud hosting, payment processing, and scheduling software — and only to perform those services for us.
With the engineer of record, general contractor, owner, or building official on a project when reporting test and inspection results is part of the work you hired us to do.
When required by law, subpoena, or a government agency, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.

Data retention

We keep test records, reports, and related project communications for the period required by our accreditation and quality-system obligations and applicable law. Contact and marketing information is kept while we have a business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward, or until you ask us to delete it where we are not required to retain it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices

Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out.
Email: use the unsubscribe link in any non-transactional email, or email us at info@constructionmaterialtesting.com.
Access, correction, or deletion: contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time, subject to our record-keeping obligations.

Children

Our services are for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed. Continued use of our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
