What to expect
What happens after I submit?
A scheduler reviews the request within one business day, calls or emails with any questions, and returns a written scope with unit rates and a total. Attached plans and specs are stored securely and used only to price the work.
What files should I attach?
Specification sections (Division 01 quality requirements, concrete, earthwork), the geotechnical report, and plans or a quantity summary. PDF, Word, Excel, DWG, ZIP, and images up to 4 MB each; for larger plan sets, zip them or paste a share link in the details.
Can I get a rate sheet instead?
Yes — call (832) 464-8334 and ask. A rate sheet is useful for spot testing; for a project with structural concrete on a schedule, a proposal built from the specification is the number you can actually budget.
Do you need the exact start date?
No. An approximate month is enough to price. Firm dates are set at scheduling.
Which specification sections matter most for pricing?
Division 01 quality requirements (who pays for testing and re-testing), 03 30 00 cast-in-place concrete (cylinder frequency, ASTM C31 curing, ASTM C39 break ages), 31 23 00 earthwork (Proctor method, ASTM D6938 test frequency per lift and area), and the structural drawings' special inspection schedule under IBC 1705. Those four set the technician hours and laboratory quantities behind the number.
