FAQ

Testing in Georgia — common questions

Do you have a laboratory in Georgia?

Laboratory testing is performed in Sugar Land, Texas with specimens transported under chain of custody, or in a mobile laboratory mobilized to large or remote Georgia projects. Field testing is dispatched from the Atlanta, GA regional hub.

How is Georgia work scheduled?

Scheduled and project-based. Send the specification and quantities through the proposal request form for a written scope, or call (346) 420-5425 to discuss a start date.

Are your technicians certified for Georgia projects?

Field technicians hold ACI and NICET certifications, which are recognized nationally. Where Georgia agencies or owners require state-specific certifications or licensed professionals, those are arranged as part of the proposal.

Do you provide IBC Chapter 17 special inspection in Georgia?

Yes. Special inspection of concrete, reinforcing, soils and compacted fill, masonry, and structural steel under IBC Section 1705 is performed by ICC-certified special inspectors, with ASTM field and laboratory testing (C31, C39, C143, C231, D6938, D698, D1557) behind it. Registration or approval requirements set by Georgia jurisdictions and building departments are confirmed in the proposal.

Which Georgia cities do you publish pages for?

11 cities and counties in Georgia have local materials testing pages, listed below. A project outside those is still covered — the pages reflect where we most often work, not a boundary.
